Suryakumar Yadav – Indian Cricketer Horoscope
Suryakumar Ashok Yadav was born on 14th September, 1990. He is popularly known by the initialism SKY. Kumar is an Indian international cricketer, renowned for his aggressive batting style, and he plays as a right-handed middle-order batter, with an occasional right-arm off break bowler. In his initial days, he made prolific runs in the junior cricket that earned him a spot in Mumbai’s Under-19 team, and he soon made his debut in first-class cricket for Mumbai in the 2010-11 Ranji Trophy season
Suryakumar was a member of the Indian team that finished as a runner-up in the 2023 Cricket World Cup and he was also a part of the Indian squad which won the 2023 Asia Cup. Suryakumar has mainly played limited-overs cricket for India and played his lone Test match in February 2023. As of December 2023, he has scored 2,141 runs in 60 T20Is matches at an average of over 45. He has held the position of captain for Mumbai in domestic cricket and also served as the Indian captain for seven T20Is in the year 2023. He made his T20I debut against England on March 14, 2021. Suryakumar’s ODI debut followed later that year, adding another feather to his cap.
In the year 2012, he made his IPL debut and then later went on to play for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), where he became known for his innovative shots and finishing abilities. Suryakumar’s consistent performances in the IPL, particularly with Mumbai Indians team in 2018, where he scored over 500 runs, brought him back to the franchise in 2018. His ability to play both as an opener and in the middle order made him a valuable asset. His IPL performance, characterized by his 360-degree shot-making ability, eventually earned him a call-up to the Indian national team in 2021.
